I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I enjoy working with individuals, adolescents, couples, children and families.
With over 10 years experience as a counselor, child welfare social worker, and early interventionist, I enjoy working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of interest and expertise include: maternal mental health (postpartum & perinatal mood and anxiety disorders), infant and toddler development, attachment, parenting, depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief and loss.
I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I hope to instill in my clients the abilty to live an authentic life. To accomplish this, I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, and a little humor, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
