Tania Alfaro is earning a Masters degree in Professional Counseling through Grand Canyon University. She graduated from Radford University with a BA in Psychology and Spanish. Tania has worked with adolescents in foster care and in detention centers. She is expanding on her clinical experience in private practice. Tania enjoys working with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds. She is bilingual (Spanish & English) and enjoys learning about other people's histories and culture. Tania recognizes that sometimes it can be difficult for some people within certain cultures to seek support for mental health needs or challenges. She hopes to provide support, tools, and education to those in need, as this is a passion of hers. She is also interested in running support & psychoeducational groups for adolescents.
Tania is available to see adolescents, children, families, and couples on a sliding fee scale. She is NOT in-network with any insurance companies at this time. Sessions with Tania are supervised, directly or indirectly, by Amanda Carrington, LPC.
